Nowadays, some payment infrastructures (such as PayTR) only work with IPv4 IP addresses and do not accept clients coming over IPv6. If your computer uses IPv6 and the system wants to see a usual IPv4 IP address, you can apply the following methods to overcome this situation.
Turn on the mobile data of your smartphone.
Activate the "Personal Hotspot" mode.
When you connect your computer to this network, it usually assigns an IPv4 address.
Payment systems see IPv4 and no issues arise.
Enter your modem interface (like 192.168.1.1
).
Select the option Disable under IPv6 Settings.
Save the changes and reconnect the devices.
Now, all devices will connect with only IPv4.
Go to "Control Panel > Network Connections."
Right-click on the active network > Properties.
Disable the option "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)".
Restart the computer.
